Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Wiby (“Wiby,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website at wiby.io and our platform at app.wiby.io (collectively, the “Services”).
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which provides broader information about how we handle your personal data.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide site owners with information about usage.
In addition to cookies, we may use:
- Local storage: Data stored in your browser to persist information between sessions without an expiry date.
- Session tokens: Short-lived tokens stored in memory or cookies to maintain authenticated sessions.
- Pixel tags / web beacons: Small transparent images embedded in pages or emails to track activity.
2. Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager (GTM) as a tag management container on our website. GTM itself does not collect any personal data; it is a system that deploys and manages the third-party scripts and pixels described in this policy. All tags fired through GTM are subject to the cookie categories below.
3. Categories of Cookies We Use
3.1 Strictly Necessary
These cookies are essential for the Services to function and cannot be switched off. They are set in response to actions you take, such as logging in or setting your region. Without these cookies, core platform features would not work.

3.4 Marketing and Advertising
We use marketing pixels and conversion tags to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and to build audiences for relevant ads on third-party platforms. These cookies track whether you visited our website after seeing or clicking one of our ads, and may be used to show you relevant content on those platforms. You can opt out at any time — see section 5.4 below.

5. Your Choices
5.1 Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to manage cookies through their settings. You can typically view, delete, or block cookies from specific sites. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging into the Wiby platform.
5.2 Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. Because there is currently no uniform standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, we do not currently respond to them. We will revisit this position if a standard is established.
5.3 Global Privacy Control
If you use a browser or extension that supports the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor it as an opt-out of any data sharing that could be characterized as a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable US privacy laws.
5.4 Marketing Opt-Outs
You can opt out of interest-based advertising from each marketing platform directly through their official opt-out mechanisms:
- Google: Google Ads Settings or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
- Meta (Facebook / Instagram): Facebook Ad Preferences
- TikTok: Manage ad preferences in the TikTok app under Settings → Privacy → Ads, or visit TikTok’s Privacy Policy
- LinkedIn: LinkedIn Retargeting Opt-out
- Microsoft Clarity: Microsoft Privacy Statement
You may also opt out of interest-based advertising from many participating companies via the Network Advertising Initiative or the Digital Advertising Alliance.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, law, or our data practices. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when changes are made.
